Miguel Pastorino
Miguel Pastorino (1976). Degree in philosophy. Bachelor in Theology. Teacher and researcher. He has also done studies in Communication, Psychology, Ecumenism and History of Religions. He is a founding member of the Ibero-American Network for the Study of Sects (RIES) and a member of the Philosophical Society of Uruguay. From 2003 to 2013 he was a member of the National Commission of Ecumenism and Interreligious Dialogue of the Uruguayan Episcopal Conference. He participated as an expert advisor in the International Consultation on "New Age and pseudotherapies", in the Holy See (2004), and as a speaker in several international congresses on new religiosity and sectarianism.
