V.M. Traverso is a freelance journalist based in New York. She holds a BA in Geography from King’s College London and a Masters in Journalism from Columbia University. Interested in culture, religion, art and travel, Ms. Traverso lived and worked in the UK, Ghana, and the Philippines before moving to the U.S. Her work has appeared on Atlas Obscura, BCC Travel and Mother Jones.
